When to See a Periodontist

Your general dentist may recommend a consultation with a periodontist if signs of periodontal disease are found. You may also decide to see a periodontist on your own — a referral is not necessary to be seen at our office. It is recommended that adults are screened regularly for periodontal disease as much of the adult population has gum disease.

Your doctor may refer you to The Tri-State Center for Advanced Implant Dentistry and Periodontics, LLC  for placement of dental implants, specialized treatment of periodontal disease, to improve the appearance of your gums, to regenerate or augment your gums and jawbone.
